studio is in East Williamsburg, about two blocks from the Morgan L Train stop. So if you’re about the Airbnb lifestyle anything close to the L train route works well.
the address is 117 Grattan St.
The studio is located on the first floor and is wheel chair accessible.
There is a tattoo supply shop/cafe down the hall that is fully stocked with pretty much everything you’d need.
Shape World, Estuary, Secret Door, Somewhere, Gnostic, Vacation Forever, are all a 5-15min walk.
There are several atms within a 5min walk.
There is a rather limited bodega across the street from the studio, but several more fully stocked bodegas and grocery stores within a 5 min walk radius. There are also Japanese, Italian, South American, Thai, Mediterranean, American, Ethiopian, and Mexican restaurants within a 5 min walk for tasty bites. ($10-20). That range opens up significantly when ordering delivery. Their hours vary from 9am (earliest) to midnight (latest)

when working at the studio you’ll have 24/7 access, so feel free to make your schedule as works best for you.
the guest artist calendar is usually full 1-2 months out but sometimes we have limited short notice availability

The studio is split into four areas. There is a client waiting room, the tattooing space, a stencil/supply room, and a private room for artists to hang out in/client changing room. The bathroom is outside of the studio but literally around the corner, so a very brief walk.
The client waiting area is separate from the tattooing space and has snacks, tea, refrigerator, and a microwave. Clients are welcome to use all of these. We usually use that space for pre-tattoo consultations & such. Clients are also welcome to use the bathrooms around the corner or the supply space in the tattoo area to change.
The studio does have it’s own wifi that you can use.
There is also a tattoo supply shop/cafe down the hall that is fully stocked with pretty much everything you’d need.
